What inspired you / the company to start distilling?
A love of spirits, combined with a shared interest in distillation with my wife Lindsay.
How long have you had the distillery open?
Forest Distillery opened in 2015, but our story began in 2013 when Lindsay and I began home distilling tiny batches of spirits from the kitchen table in our home in Macclesfield Forest.
How would describe the distillery’s ethos? / Are there any particular initiatives?
We are family based and treat all staff and guests as part of our family.
What are your plans for 2022?
We have lots of exciting export plans in place, with some new markets to be announced very shortly.
